My biggest issue with the word is in saying "should," we announce our failure to achieve whatever we believe we "should" be achieving, even before we begin the work of achieving it. Thanks for increasing awareness of our need to stop using this horrid little word!

What a great post! We should always be true to ourselves. Although whenever I get gelato, I always have to get 2 completely different but complementary flavors. This may explain my dating life. He.

Well done Jeffrey!

You know I am a huge proponent of realizing self-value and putting more of *WHO* we are in everything we do.

You make a good case for shutting off some of the noise that distracts us from getting to better know who we are and then getting down to putting more of that in our lives.

Looking forward to your next one. :)

"huge tidal wave of clarity", lol. You are speaking the words of wisdom my dear. Much more truthful than any "7 EZ steps to...." :)

A funny thing about words of wisdom is, that it is not possible to insert them into anybody's head unless the person is already there (or almost there). If the listener is not already there, than all wisest world sound like "you gotta be there now, OM". And then there is a whole school of people repeating "You gotta be there now", much like in "Jonathan Livingston". Uselessly, at that.

Your, your post is joy. <3

I couldn't agree more with your advice to learn to find happiness within yourself. It's way too much pressure on your partner to base *all* your happiness in him/her. Anyone is bound to fall from that pedestal.
